Kelly will be performing poetry alongside Roya Marsh (Poet in Residence, Urban Word NYC), Gentle Ramirez, and other poets in celebration of MLK’s legacy of activism and equality, with a special focus on the intersections of race, gender, and multiple identities. After the performance, there will be an open mic for Columbia and Barnard students to share their talents.
